What Is IM Beyond Phoenix?

While IM Academy was founded to provide individuals with the opportunity to study financial markets online, the Academy holds occasional IM Beyond events in which members meet in person. The events allow IBOs to be recognized for their achievements, as well as to network, discuss market strategies, and foster a sense of community.

These events attract thousands of attendees and are held at locations worldwide, with recent gatherings held in Palm Beach, Florida, and Barcelona, Spain.

The IM Beyond Phoenix event will be held at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, just under 10 miles outside of Phoenix. Attendees will stay at hotels throughout the Phoenix area.

At the event, IM Academy recognizes its IBOsfor various levels of achievement. Platinum 1000, 2000, and 5000 members receive a certificate on stage, while members who have reached the Chairman level receive a trophy and address the attendees with short speeches. The goal is to recognize IBOs who are playing an important role in promoting financial education at the Academy, and to inspire other IBOs to strive for similar achievements.

Generating Tourism Revenue

Tourism is a key component of Arizona’s economy. According to Arizona’s Office of Tourism, the industry was the state’s No. 1 export industry in 2020. The Office of Tourism’s Economic Impact report found that 2.1 million people visited Arizona in 2020, spending $15 billion and supporting jobs and tax revenue in the state. The report noted that the $2.7 billion in 2020 tax revenue generated by tourism in Arizona equaled an annual tax savings of $986 per household. supported 160,500 industry jobs

However, following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, tourism revenues in Arizona, as in every other part of the world, faced inevitable declines.

Now, as travel restrictions have loosened, thousands of IM Academy members will travel to Phoenix and the state stands to benefit from increased revenues as members stay at hotels and enjoy the bars, restaurants, and other amenities that the city and surrounding area offer.
